Multimedia law in our practice relates to the creation, production, licensing, and marketing of products for the
arcade, computer, and consumer electronics industries.
It's no secret that we represent the creator of the multi-million dollar arcade hit called "Dragon's Lair," or that
we were one of the first law firms dealing with production and licensing agreements for CD-ROM games.
When it came time to use professional actors in our clients' productions, we negotiated directly with the
Screen Actors Guild for "no-royalty" performance contracts. We have negotiated some of the most creator-
favored contracts in the industry, commanding terrific royalty rates from publishers including Interplay
Productions, Philips, Readysoft and Virgin Games ... and we know what can be commanded in the future.
